INVITE US TO YOUR HOMETOWNCHAIR YOGA TRAINING

Learn to Teach Chair Yoga!

As our population continues to age, the need for accessible, supportive Yoga for older adults has never been greater. Many seniors are looking for safe ways to stay active, maintain independence, improve balance, and support their physical and emotional wellbeing. Chair Yoga offers an inclusive approach that meets people where they are, making movement accessible even for those with mobility issues or health concerns. Skilled teachers are increasingly needed in community centers, retirement residences, healthcare settings, and wellness programs to help older adults stay connected, confident, and engaged in their daily lives.

This comprehensive teacher training is designed for Yoga teachers ready to expand their scope of practice to the senior population. You’ll learn how to lead engaging chair Yoga classes tailored to the unique needs of older adults — including those with limited mobility, balance concerns, chronic pain, arthritis, and osteoporosis.

Meet Your Instructor

Amy Sztupovszky (E-RYT500, YACEP, RYS) is the owner of Wild Daisy Yoga and Lead Facilitator of the Embodied Yoga School.

Amy's passion is to share her love of accessible, trauma-informed Yoga with the world and help Yoga teachers expand their skills and confidence to teach diverse populations. She believes that EVERY body is a Yoga body and that EVERY body deserves Yoga.

After receiving certification in Accessible Yoga from the Accessible Yoga School, Amy began teaching chair Yoga in her studio, in assisted living facilities, and in not-for-profit programs designed to help isolated older-adults find activity and community. Through her work, she has come to the realization that most Yoga teachers are not equipped with the skills, confidence, or knowledge to teach older adults, and yet this is one of the largest demographics that need Yoga in their lives.

She is on a mission to bring chair Yoga to more people by training teachers to confidently teach chair Yoga to seniors in their communities.
